About Us
Cary had always wanted an arcade or two in their basement. As soon as they finished their basement in 2010, he found a Gauntlet arcade. Gauntlet sat in Kim and Cary's living room for a few weeks before making it to the basement. Then he found the next arcade, and the next, and before long (a little over a year) there were 16 arcades in the basement, two or three in the garage and a Crazy Taxi in their living room.
Next, the dream of opening an arcade: Cary woke in the middle of the night in September of 2012 and vowed to open an arcade. Kim was happy to know she'd have her basement back one day. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into getting the arcade set up and hauling the arcades out of their basement.
Cary and Kim are high-school sweethearts. They began dating in 1991 and were married in March of 2000. In March of 2002 they welcomed their first child. Fast forward to 2013, they have 6 kids, three girls and three boys. Cary works a full time job during the week and Kim is a homeschooling stay at home mom. The arcade is a weekend business that they enjoy together.
They opened their doors on June 8th, 2013, which also was the 22nd anniversary of Kim and Cary's first date. The rest is history!
After much thought and soul searching, Cary and Kim have decided to close the business to enjoy their weekends (and week nights) with their family. The last day is Saturday, May 7th, 2016. They would like to thank everyone for sharing this amazing experience with them.
